Had to stop at our little market the last time we were near Hancock Park. Me and my girl love this place. Stopped here to get a few Kosher goods on our way home, since it was convenient and all. My second time here, but they have been here a long time. I love the selections of food here. The owners are really nice to us. Any chance i get. i try and stop at La Brea Kosher Market.
In my opinion this business is a special business. It reminds me of an old-school market from the 1980s. Everybody there knows your name and they treat you with respect. The food is fresh the items are well stocked in their places and the customer service is 5000 stars not five stars. They make you feel like family... I have always recommended my family and friends to this market and have never had a problem what their cleanliness and good food which is always fresh. When you come in you could see that everything is in order. If you want to be treated special PLEASE come to LaBrea market
This is not a market I regularly shop at however I do for sure come at least once a year for their sustained release caffeine pill and it works wonders for Yom Kippur! Their staff is always so nice and helpful.
A small kosher market, their meat quality/ fish is the freshest! Their vegetables are fresh and reasonably priced. Better than Ralph's for sure! Will come here more often. They have their parking in the alley!
If you are a kosher consumer, this is an ideal market. It is small enough that you can do your shopping pretty quickly, yet large enough to have everything you need.
This is a very good Kosher market centrally located in Los Angeles' Chassidic/Litvish Orthodox Jewish community. La Brea Kosher has everything one needs to live a Kosher life including a nice selection of Kosher wines. The meat is excellent and the baked goods are to die for as well! Parking is always available on La Brea right in front of the store. I will warn you not to go there Friday afternoon as every orthodox Jewish procrastinator on that side of town is shopping at the last minute for Shabbos. Like many other reviewers have said before me, the aisles are a little narrow things get a little crazy with all the last minute shoppers preparing for Shabbos.
